Life is a characteristic that distinguishes objects that have signaling and self-sustaining processes (i.e., living organisms) from those that do not, either because such functions have ceased (death), or else because they lack such functions and are classified as inanimate.

The Doors lead singer abused drugs and alcohol and as The Doors rose to fame, Morrison's debilitating alcoholism continued to ravage him. He died in 1971, the same year of an apparent heroin overdose and was found in the bathtub of his apartment. No autopsy was ever performed.

FIBONACCI BOX
The Fibonacci sequence is named after Leonardo of Pisa, who was known as Fibonacci. Fibonacci's 1202 book Liber Abaci introduced the sequence to Western European mathematics. I created a 3 dimensional sculpture collage that is built around the fibonacci sequence.
